The end of an era

I guess that title seems a little dramatic, but nevertheless, it is the end of a chapter in our lives.

I'm sure it's been announced by now so. . .I guess I can talk about it.

Honey is no longer a youth minister. He was asked to resign last Thursday and his resignation was effective immediately. I think the "official" explanation is "Honey resigned to pursue other options."

As far as we are concerned, we are shocked and devastated. We were asked not to be present in worship or Bible class this morning when they announced it.

This is what I have to say to you: (you know who you are) We love you and will always be here for you. Call or come by any time.

Jenni,
I don't really know you, but I knew Robert in college, and I worked at Bright Horizons for a little bit last year. I am so sorry to hear what yall are going through right now. You are all in our prayers, and I hope that God gives you peace in guidance in what must be a very difficult and confusing time.

Jenni,

it seems as though what has happened to you guys is so unfair. It infuriates those of us who were close to you guys! IF you need a free babysitter... let me know!

I am sad to hear how that was handled! I know that the Lord will use you in whatever way He can, I know that many, many will miss you! Let me know if there is anything you need in these parts!

That just all around STINKS. I don't understand at all but am saying some prayers for you guys. I don't know if you guys will come back or not but you will be MORE than welcome in our class. We are having a class party this Saturday at the Dennis', I don't know if you will want to see anyone or not but know you would be surrounded in love.

As I wrote you earlier, I am so sorry the way this was handled. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Whatever you decide you will have our support. Know that God has a plan for you and He will direct you to your new path. We love you.
