Conversations With My Hairdryer

On the sixth day...

I absolutely do not have time for this. I have a list of things to do that's a mile long. I know you can sympathize, because you're probably checking things off of your long ole' list as well.

And, I'm stuck at home. I'm waiting for a delivery from UPS. Their computerized message yesterday afternoon stated that they would be by some time between 7 am and 7 pm. So, I'm waiting. At home. Because I do not want to add driving all the way out to their shipping center to pick up my package to my list o' things to get done in the next week.


About half of the things on The List are home things, so I am getting something accomplished. Bubba's Christmas party for school is tomorrow. I'm supposed to send cookies. Bubba requested that I make these.



I used Pioneer Woman's directions for making them. I made them last year for his school birthday celebration, and they definitely proved themselves worthy of being filed under "kid pleasing". Today I used chocolate chip cookie dough and Hershey's kisses. Our favorite combination is chocolate chip dough with Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, but we try to stay away from the whole peanut allergy attack thing while we're at school.
