Close to my heart

Have you loved on your teachers this week?

Teachers own a special place in my heart. I used to be one.
Sometimes I still am.
It doesn't take a genius to realize how much teachers give to our kids. I love my kids more than I can express. But do you know how hard it is to love someone else's kids that much? Sometimes it's easy. . . sometimes, not so easy.
Sometimes you gotta fake it till you feel it :)
But teachers love every day . . . even on the days they are tired, anxious, and overwhelmed. They love someone else's kids as if they were their own. They love my kids.
They prepare, and pray, and problem-solve for every child. They live the statement "No child left behind."
My kids can never tell when it's a "fake it till you feel it" kind of day. They always walk away from school feeling absolutely loved.
And a beach towel with monkeys on it will never really express my appreciation. But it might remind them to hang in there, summer is only a few short weeks away.

UPDATED TO ADD:

I totally did steal your idea...but sadly ran out of time to make cute cards with matching animals, but did put a fun saying on them. Hopefully I'll get around to posting them sometime soon so you can see!
Thanks for sharing your fun ideas!
