Because some sweet, generous, Easter-loving soul donated these candies to the church-wide egg hunt. And my children brought home 6 of them. Well, really 8, but only 6 actually made it home. None of the cheap 1000 piece Tootsie Roll bags for this candy donor.
We'd already polished off our stash of these little pieces of heaven on earth. My addiction drove me to the Easter candy isle at Walmart on Good Friday, proving that an addict will do anything to feed his/her addiction. But my search was in vain. Only Snickers flavored eggs were to be found at such a late date. And my Easter dreams were dashed.
To the generous person/persons who made such an Easter sacrifice, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. You made my week.

Dude... my mom put some of those in my Easter basket... delicious.
Those are the best! The great thing about having a 2yo is they don't know you're taking the best candy in their basket for yourself.
I have been enjoying your blog since finding it during the blog party. I have a little something for you over at my blog.

Well, I thoroughly enjoyed and celebrated Easter but I am with you on the 'pieces of heaven'! Mmmmm.
LOL... we are a fan of the REESTER bunnies... Ohhh the goodness of peanut butter and chocolate!
I ate one package all by myself and have been LONGING to go buy another one. But I know I will eat them all by myself again.
