Well, in keeping with The Preschool theme, I wanted to fill you in on another little project that fills my days during the school year. THE SCRAPBOOKS. You see, every year, each student at The Preschool receives a scrapbook marking the memories they've made at school. It's a sweet gift from the school to the parents, and as a mom, I LOVE them. As a teacher, not so much. Oh, I kid. I really don't mind doing all those pages, but it does get a bit overwhelming at times.
This year, I had 12 students, so that meant that I made 12 scrapbooks. Our director and asst. director are wonderful about helping us finish pages whenever possible, which is awesome. I wanted to show you just a sample of how the precious books turn out, but to do that I had to take some creative liscense. I'm showing you the pages Ms. Lisa actually did for my own girls. Because the pages I did for my students had other kids' faces on them, and I just didn't feel right posting their pics without permission. So these are really Ms. Lisa's pages, but mine were somewhat similar.
Our scrapbooks journaled everything from
how much the kids grew throughout the year, to. . .
