After taking a break from all things camp for a couple of summers, the whole family went up with our new church family for a week of fun in the mountains. We loved spending time drawing closer to God, and it was great to spend a week getting to know other adults and families at church.
The week was full of every good thing you might expect from camp...
and silly games and dress up nights.
Thanks to everyone who commented on the earlier post about how there was pretty much no chance on earth he would pay attention to his personal hygiene while at camp. He read all your comments, and he's enough like me that when someone says he won't, he usually finds a way to prove them wrong. We had a little bit of reverse psychology going on there.
It took somewhere in the neighborhood of 10 loads of laundry and 3 naps, but I'm finally feeling a little bit caught up.
We have no food or toilet paper in the house, so today's agenda includes a trip to the grocery store.
And then we will commence enjoying the last 27 days of summer. Can you believe it?!
