InstaSpringBreak Day 4

Diabetes + sore teeth = lots of insulin

Brooke's teeth are still tender from the new hardware.  She wants to eat soft, mushy stuff...which means lots of pasta, potatoes, and, of course, milk shakes.  We are getting some scrambled eggs and peanut butter in there to cover the protein.

This is the picture I took right before I gave her the biggest bolus ever. She had a milk shake and some french fries for lunch.  I was a little nervous about it, so I dual waved it.  I guess it worked because she didn't go low and 3 hours later she was 146.

We're going to try baked spaghetti for supper.

The girls and I all had hair appointments this morning.  Then it was day two of dress shopping.

Yes, two days to find a dress that both the eight year olds and mom liked.

I can't wait for prom.

Since dress shopping was so much fun, I decided to round out the day with a trip to Walmart.  It was a relatively quick trip and I actually got a good basket.  Such a good basket that I wished I had a neon orange trail marker to tie around the handle so I could find it next time.

We did come home with these:

so, it's all good.

I am blessed because I LOVE shopping for clothes for Gen and I have a great sense of her style. I am always right. It's gratifying... :)
