More

We have some extra backpacks, lunch boxes, and water bottles at our house this week.  The kids that belong to those backpacks are staying with us because their dad is in the hospital and their mom is taking care of him.

Could you say a prayer for those kids?  It's been kind of a big week...football tryouts, first day of working out in pads, getting used to 3rd grade reading and spelling, getting a new teacher because the classes are too full, open house...  Lots of worry for such young shoulders.

Could you also say a prayer of healing for their dad?  He could use a couple if you have the time.

And while you're at it...could you say a prayer for their stressed out mama.  She's torn between being with her husband and being with her kids.

(And yes, there is a trumpet in there too.  LORD HELP US ALL.  At least he plays well.)

Thanks!  Y'all are the best!

So glad that there is a mom like you to take care of the kids. I was in a similar situation many years ago. It meant a lot to me to have someone take care of my kids and love on them while I was with my hubby even though I wanted to be with my babies, too. Prayers for all of you!
