My heart is heavy. I just haven't felt like blogging, mainly because my heart is so heavy. So many yucky things happening and I just can't be chatty and fun-loving.
I'd like to ask you to pray for some of my friends:
- A very special teen, Jerrod, who in the last week has gone from experiencing double vision to being diagnosed with having a tumor deep in his brain, to needing complicated brain surgery.
- A father and husband who desperately needs a liver transplant.
- A mother, wife, and grandmother who is living her final days with cancer
- A marriage that is ending
- Another marriage that is ending
To be honest, whatever incident I was going to write about in an attempt to be witty and entertaining just seems petty.
Thanks for your prayers.

Man I am right there with ya, and have been all day. I too am just heavy and specifically for many of the same reasons you are.
For sure I am praying. Our God amazingly takes our heavy hearts, holds them and eventually turns mourning into dancing.
Oh I'm so sorry. It surely puts life's minor irritations (which seem so huge at the time) into perspective to read about those real troubles. Sending good thoughts into the universe for your friends.
Jerrod is in our daily prayers. Please let me know if you know of any way I can help.
Deut. 31:6 "...He will never leave you nor forsake you."
oh my goodness... my heart is overwhelmed by all of this sadness you are seeing around you! Prayers, of course!
Oh, Jenni, I'm so sorry. I'm praying that He will be your refuge, your hope in trouble, your strength, and your joy.
I am confident He will be using you to bless all those people you care about. You'll be a gift to them. You have been to me in big ways already in our short friendship, especially on my heavy hearted days lately.
Praying right now that you feel a lightening of your spirit; that you can rest in Him and enjoy the gift of the day He's given you.
We have had a lot of marriages ending around us, too. It is really a sad, sad thing. Satan has really been on attack!
I pray the Lord will comfort you through these hard times.

I understand. (((HUGS)))
